Domisa Graphique is a family-run print and finishing company located in Île-de-France, south of Paris. Even though they are not the biggest when it comes to size, they were the fastest when it came to choosing the pinnacle of precision cutting when DupliData installed the very first F1625 flatbed cutter in France at their new business location. We talked to Lucile Bienvenu about how Domisa Graphique was able to completely change their print-and-cut workflow and move cutting from a constraint into a strength.
A small team built on speed and quality
Founded in 2006, Domisa Graphique serves a mix of event organizers, food preparation equipment suppliers, communities and and small businesses. With a compact team, they rely on rigorous quality control and quick turnarounds, often delivering overnight. The company’s scale means any tool they add must be easy to run, consistent in output, and supported by partners they trust.
A clear bottleneck
Like many print shops, most finishing used to be done manually, with manual cutting quickly becoming the bottleneck for complex shapes or repeating cutting patterns. The move to a larger facility finally created the space for a flatbed cutter, an investment they had been thinking about for a long time. As Lucile put it: “Cutting everything by hand worked, but we were more and more limited to what we could do and how fast we could do it, resulting in printers that weren’t printing, because we couldn’t keep up with the manual labor.”
A strong choice for trust and usability
Domisa Graphique spoke with multiple suppliers, visited C!Print, and attended DupliData’s open house. There were various offers that were compared, but eventually, a choice was made for quality and long-term confidence. “There might be cheaper options on the market, but those options don’t offer the same reliability and ease-of-use. Combine that with the service we got, and we are still confident we took the right decision”, said Lucile.”
What tipped the decision:
Reliability: European build quality and proven service history gave Lucile the assurance that her cutting table would be operational day-in, day-out.
Simplicity: The machine and software felt straightforward during demos, which is important for a relatively small team.
Trusted partner: A longstanding relationship with DupliData and direct access to responsive technicians reduced risk.
Right-sized investment: Being able to get the right size in an F1625 flatbed cutter at a competitive price sealed the deal.
Cédric Renault, Lucile’s contact at DupliData, was never in doubt. “We recommended the F1625 to Domisa Graphique because it’s a solution that combines versatility and performance, perfectly suited to their production needs and growth ambitions. It’s a cutting table that delivers precision, speed and adaptability across a wide range of materials, enabling them to gain autonomy, responsiveness and quality. We’re very proud of this realisation, highlighting DupliData’s role as a key player in the distribution of large-format printing and cutting solutions, providing reliable, innovative tools that drive the growth of companies like Domisa Graphique.
Simplicity, efficiency, and reliability in daily use
Within two weeks of production, the impact was visible on the shop floor:
Throughput balance flipped:
Printing used to outpace cutting; now cutting is faster. The team “waits for prints” instead of the other way around, removing a recurring bottleneck.Ease of use in real hands:
Operators picked up the workflow quickly. One operator with dyslexia runs the F1625 confidently, evidence that the software is clear and accessible in practice.Precision where it counts:
Applications like custom wallpaper benefit from accurate alignment and repeatability. Work that was once delicate and time-consuming is now consistent and faster.Support on call, not in the way:
The team keeps a half-day of training in reserve and has direct lines to technicians. Routine questions are solved quickly without disrupting production.
In Lucile’s words, Summa and their F1625 are best described by three qualities: “reliability, simplicity, efficiency.” Those qualities are now reflected in their turnaround times and in their confidence to quote new types of work.
A machine that opens your mind to new possibilities
With core jobs running faster, Domisa Graphique is lining up new applications that benefit from shaped cutting and clean edges: mobiles, custom forms, and other creative pieces they previously declined. They’ve scheduled a half-day training after several months of operation to address accumulated questions and accelerate more advanced use. The immediate goal is to keep production smooth while gradually expanding the scope of projects they can accept.
A dependable upgrade that fits the team
For Domisa Graphique, value wasn’t about a long feature list; it was about a dependable, easy-to-run cutter that keeps pace with their printers and standards. The F1625 meets that brief: straightforward to operate, fast enough to remove the cutting bottleneck, and precise enough for demanding work like wallpaper. Backed by a partner they know and a support team they can reach, the upgrade feels practical and built for their size of operation.
